Barbara A. Myers, age 83, of Oakley, formerly of Sarcoxie, Missouri, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born on June 14, 1936 in Jasper, Missouri to Fred and Pauline (Sites) Lee.

She was a medical transcriptionist at St. John's Hospital in Joplin, Missouri and a homemaker. Barbara married Harold Myers on December 24, 1955 in Jasper, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Pauline, her husband, Harold, who passed away in 2018, and her son, Mike Myers in 2017.

She is survived by her daughter, Barb Kelly, and husband Bob of Oakley, her son, Lee Myers and wife Rebecca of Springfield, Missouri, five grandchildren: Britni Lyon (Joe) of Olathe, Steve Kelly (Sierra) of Kansas City, MO, Brandi Hulon (Ian) of Overland Park, Carleigh Kelly of Olathe, and Jennifer Myers of Springfield, MO; two great grandchildren, Spencer and Heath, (Britni and Joe's children); and her sister, Sharon Pennington of Twin Falls, Idaho.
