Cale Anthony Prewo, age 18, was born July 11, 2001 in Colby, Kansas to Gary and Jill (Bloom) Prewo.  He was a lifetime Grinnell resident and a senior at Oakley High School.  Cale passed away on October 29, 2019 at Swedish Medical Center, Englewood, Colorado.

Cale was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Grinnell, the Grinnell/Angelus Catholic Youth Organization, and Future Farmers of America.  He loved life on the farm.

He enjoyed mechanics, welding, tractor driving, harvest, driving semi and helping all our neighbors.  Cale made several projects in woods and shop class, and surprised us all with his talent in art class.

Cale is survived by his parents, brother Craig and wife Daisy of Grinnell, and brother Cory.  He was a very proud and loving uncle of two nephews, Camdyn and Carson.  He also leaves one uncle, Ed (Sharon) Prewo of Hays, and aunt Susan Bloom of Oakley.  Family was always important to Cale, especially his special cousins, Mary and Lisa Stroda of Grainfield, and many other cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Acquiline and Bertha Prewo and John "Buddy" and Beula Bloom, uncle Mike Bloom, and infant uncle Donnie Prewo.

Funeral Mass:  10:30 AM, Monday, November 4, 2019, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell with Fr. James Thomas, Fr. Harvey Dinkel, and Fr. Luke Thielen officiating.  Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.  Visitation:  3 - 8 p.m. Sunday at the Parish Hall with parish vigil at 7:00 p.m.  Memorials:  Grinnell/Angelus CYO and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell may be sent to Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, P.O.
