Clem J. Albers, age 73, died January 27, 2004 at his home in rural Angelus in Sheridan County. He was born on January 19, 1931 at Hays, Kansas, the only child of Bernard Joseph "B. J." Albers and Martha Boeger Albers.
Clem graduated from Grinnell High School in 1949, and was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
On April 14, 1956 he was married to Charlotte Nemechek at Christ the King Church in WaKeeney, Kansas. Clem and Charlotte had four sons: Thomas, Curt, Eric John, and Jeff. Clem was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Angelus.
Clem is survived by his wife Charlotte, of the home; three sons: Thomas of Grinnell, Kansas; Curt and wife Rochelle and their daughters Carleigh and Carrie of Smolan, Kansas; and Jeff and his wife Christina and their daughters Whitney and Taylor of Salina, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, B.J. and Martha Albers, and by an infant son, Eric John on April 19, 1961.
