Judie Lynn Herbert, age 49, of Colby (formerly of Page City) passed away June 11, 2014 at the Citizens Medical Center, Colby. She was born January 13, 1965 in Oakley to Joe D. and Judy (Russell) Herbert.
Judie lived most of her life in Page City, where she had enough space to keep all the animals she loved so much. Although much of her adult life was spent in a wheelchair, she had a full and happy life. She was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and a coin collector who spent her spare time reading books and watching movies. She had a great singing voice and loved to sing for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Parsons, (2006) and her stepfather, Larry Parsons (2004).
Survivors include her father Joe (stepmother Linda) Herbert of Pasco, Washington, a brother Ty Herbert (Sheila) and nephew Emmett Herbert of Page City, and a sister Debbie Headley and nephew Marcus Headley of San Antonio, TX.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service was held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley with Pastor Bob Kelly officiating. No visitation. Inurnment will be at the Winona Cemetery in a private service for the family.
