Obituary

Konnel Keller was born April 9th, 1990.  He died on March 30th 2014, ten days before his 24th birthday.  Konnel chose to walk with God at a young age.  He graduated from Oakley High School in 2008 and began to farm with his father and family.  Konnel had an amazing mind, loved spiky hair, sunglasses and dressing sharply.  He loved to smile and play the piano.  Konnel suffered with the terrible disease of addiction.  In spite of the ebb and flow of darkness, God's light in him was never hidden.

Konnel is preceded in death by his grandfather Clifford McConnell and cousin Jeremy Keller.  He is loved and survived by his father and mother, Gary and Raelene Keller, sister and brother-in-law Danielle and Cody Forsberg and niece Aura, brother Jerrik and sister Alexa, all of Oakley, grandparents Les and Jeri Keller and Sylvia McConnell, all of Windsor, Colorado, many aunts and uncles and 33 cousins.
Konnel's message for us today is… Listen to God, as written in Psalms 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God."
We want his life, his love, and his death to continue to speak to all who cared for him.
Konnel Nevin Keller, 23, died Sunday, March 30, 2014.  He was born April 9, 1990, in Colby to Gary and Raelene (McConnell) Keller.  Preceded in death:  grandfather, Clifford McConnell.

Survivors:  parents, Gary and Raelene, of Oakley; brother, Jerrik, of Windsor, Colo.; sisters, Alexa Keller, of Oakley, and Danielle (Cody) Forsberg, of Oakley; niece, Aura Forsberg, of Oakley; and grandparents, Les and Jeri Keller and Sylvia McConnell, all of Windsor.

Funeral:  10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Oakley High School Auditorium.  Visitation:  4-7 p.m. Friday at Buffalo Bill Cultural Center, Oakley.  Memorials:  Buffalo Bill Cultural Center, in care of Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, P.O. Box 221, Oakley 67748.
