Mary Ann Meyer, age 80, of Norton, Kansas, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2017 at Andbe Home, Norton. She was born July 4, 1936 in Charleston, West Virginia to Oliver W. and Edith Mae (Morris) Laughorn.  Mary married William J. Meyer on November 11, 1972 at Aurora, CO.  She was a bartender in restaurants and owned her own cleaning business, Mary's Cleaning Service, where she cleaned residential homes.  Mary and Bill moved from Commerce City, CO to Norton in 2005 to be closer to their daughter, Carla.  She enjoyed her rose garden and was very fond of her cats.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Henry and Don Laughorn, and three sisters:  Margurette Harper, Evelyn Harper, and Pearl Harper.

Survivors include her husband, Bill of Norton, her daughter, Carla Richards of Norton, and grandson, Steven Schillereff of Aurora, CO.
