Randall Bishop "Randy" Smith, age 64, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 in Tyler, Texas.

Randy was born on May 4, 1951 in Arcadia, California to Archie and Catherine (Bishop) Smith. Randy married Deborah Dickey on May 7, 1983 in Tyler, Texas, where they resided for 32 years. He was a member of Tyler Metro Church for 32 years, where he was very active in the Bible Study and Sunday School. Randy also worked as groundskeeper for Tyler Metro Church for the past 6 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Catherine; Aunt Barbara Bishop Stoller; and grandparents, W.T. and Hazel (Jordon) Bishop. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Smith of Tyler, and daughter, Megan Smith, also of Tyler, Texas.

Services for Randy were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Tyler Metro Church, 14192 Highway 110 S., Tyler, Texas with Pastor Jerry Phelps officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Ronald McDonald House in Dallas, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Winona Cemetery, Winona, Kansas with Pastor Bob Kelly officiating. Memorials may be made to Winona Cemetery Fund and Buffalo Bill Cultural Center, Oakley in care of the Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, P.O. Box 221, Oakley 67748.
