Rex Irving Gray's Obituary
Rex Irving Gray, age 54, of Wichita, died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was born April 19, 1959 in Denver, Colorado to Roy Junior Gray and Sheila JoAnn (Howell) Langholz.
He was a restauranteur as manager of several restaurants and employed with Dillon Stores in the seafood department in several stores in Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Sheila, and a brother Gary Gray, Sr.
Survivors include friend Don Ziegler of Wichita, a brother Tom Gray of Independence, Oregon, sisters Kathy Wertz of El Dorado and Sandy Townsend of El Dorado, and 3 step brothers; John Langholz of Wichita, Kevin Langholz of Wichita, and Steve Langholz of Mulvane.
A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Oakley with Pastor Bob Kelly officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Memorials to the Rex Gray Memorial Fund may be sent in care of Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, PO Box 221, Oakley 67748. www.kennedykosterfh.com
