Terina Sue Brommer, 53, of Oakley, Kansas, passed away from cancer on September 11, 2024, at her home, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born December 2, 1970 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Karen LaMastres and the late Kenneth Brommer. Terina was a devoted mother to Kenneth "KJ" Brommer, Joshua Brommer, Shelby Jackson and Melody Davis, as well as a grandmother to Alexa Strutt, Rex Davis, Connor Binder, Rilee Davis, and Declan Davis. They were her greatest accomplishments. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.
Terina took a special joy in planning family get-togethers, and had fond memories of all the Christmas days she hosted at her house with all of her family, especially her grand babies!
Terina is survived by her mother, Karen LaMastres, her children: KJ Brommer, Shelby Jackson, Josh Brommer, and Melody (Cory) Davis: grandchildren: Alexa Strutt, Jackson Binder, Connor Binder, Rex Davis, Rilee Davis, and Declan Davis; sisters: Nichole (Andy) Bingham, Kasey Brommer, Misty (James) Stotler, and Shanley Robinson; brothers: Jason (Brenda) Brommer and Clayton Brommer; nieces: Sarah (Charles) Hale, Hanna Bingham, Lizzette Viscarra, Ariel Brommer, and Shayna Altman; nephews: Austin Bingham, Eric Viscarra, Joseph Robinson, Brynton Robinson and Chris Stotler, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Terina was preceded in death by her grandma, Bernice Pedersen, father, Kenneth Brommer, step-father, Ray LaMastres, her brother, Brian Brommer, aunt, Joyce Kuper, and husband, Frederick "DJ" Jackson.
She didn't wish for a funeral but instead asked for a Celebration of Life which will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Oakley Senior Center. A luncheon will follow.
